Dance Arts History

Dance Arts was established in 1977.  Our successful history has led to the reputation Dance Arts maintains for its high standard of education.  In order to provide each student with the best dance education, all classes are carefully graded and supervised.

Donna Carbone Schaeffer is a member of Dance Educators of America and a professional member of USA Gymnastics.  She is safety certified and is trained as a nurse.  Her extensive knowledge of anatomy and physiology is an asset to her teaching.

Donna continues to study with some of the best dance teachers in the United States.  This ongoing training enables Dance Arts students to be exposed to the best and most current trends in the world of dance!

Dance Arts has produced numerous successful working dancers and professional choreographers.  These dancers have appeared on Broadway, cruise ships, Disneyland and Disney World and have danced professionally all over the world.

Not everyone is interested in a professional career. Many of the people who pass through our door come to develop self-esteem, poise, grace and confidence.  Others come just for the fun of it!  Whatever the motivation, each and every student is very important to us.
